I really like the water color effect in the background (is it? It's something dripping, unless it's painted in which case DAYUM). I really love the shading on the hand, and the bright contrast of the bridge of the nose makes it all woosh out. Sweet piece, I really dig it!

I admire people who can draw and paint, the eyes on this painting really held me and pulled me in. Thanks for visiting my blog today it is good to meet new people :)
Like Suzanne, I also admire people who can draw. I can't even draw a rectangle on an Etch-A-Sketch. Thanks for dropping by Penwasser Place. Hopefully, you made it out okay.
Absolutely incredible, you truly are an amazing talent Peace Love and Sharpies, just wow!
ReplyDeleteVery well done, that frame sure looks like no fun!

ReplyDeleteVery cool! I like it!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks...painful.
ReplyDeleteBut that's something you set out to do when you paint!
Incredible! You portray real strong emotions through your art!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. Haunting. Such emotion.
ReplyDeleteAlso, on a lighter note, I'm always jealous of those who can draw hands so well. Till I can master that, I'll stick with circles. :)
I'm not sure why people are saying she looks sad. She's apathetic or indifferent to me.
ReplyDeleteNice. But it is a freaking me out a little. Just a little. :(
ReplyDeleteI would say the right eye is apathetic but the left eye is sad.
